I am a HUGE fan of free stuff, I get it from my dad who cruises around garage sales and spends way too much time on Craigslist looking for some sweet or potentially free deals. It’s not a bad thing- you should see the stuff he has come home with! I heard of Swagbucks when I was in New Zealand from another blog that I love reading. At the time I was unable to join because I believe it’s currently only open to Canada, the US and the UK, but it was on my mind all the way until I came back to Canada and I’ve been using it ever since.
Basically, Swagbucks is a search engine where you earn points for searching. We all search anyways, so it doesn’t make much of a difference to daily life. You can also answer a daily poll for an extra point or do surveys, play games, watch videos and shop for more points. Once you accumulate enough points, you can redeem them for Amazon giftcards, Starbucks giftcards and the like. I’ll be honest in that it takes a while to rack up the points, but it’s so easy that it doesn’t even matter. I’ve compiled a little graphic of my personal tips to get more points using Swagbucks.
So far, I have almost enough for a $25 Amazon/Paypal/Starbucks giftcard, but I’ve decided to just let my points sit and keep accumulating until I can redeem for a larger amount. Using Swagbucks doesn’t change the way I do things in the least, and I get points for it. What’s there to lose? Literally nothing. It’d be awesome if you signed up using my affiliate link and let me know if you have any tips/tricks for getting more points with Swagbucks!
