I’m going to start by telling you the New Zealand photos I have throughout this post are to make the words less boring and the whole post prettier. Let’s be honest, no one wants to read a pictureless post. I sure don’t! I haven’t posted in six days, oops. I once read that it’s stupid for people to apologize for not posting on their blog, because it’s THEIR blog, so I’m going to go ahead and not apologize for being insanely busy, hahaha. Seriously though, I feel like one busy freakin’ bee at the moment. We leave for New Zealand in three days and it still hasn’t hit me. I’m honestly not sure that it’ll hit me until we’re actually at the airport. I have yet to pack things, which is probably a stupid thing to delay since I am the worst packer and am so indecisive. I DID, however, try on every bikini and pair of shorts I own to see what fits well, so I at least have those things set aside and I’ll mostly just need to figure out tops and dresses to bring now (which is way harder than it sounds for me, haha). What else is new? I am up to my ears in work that I need to somehow finish in the next couple of days before we go, I have Christmas presents to buy still, blog posts to schedule, etc. Can I have a time extension, please?
On the more fun and exciting side of things, I was sent a Michael Todd Soniclear for review. It’s “the world’s first antimicrobial sonic skin cleansing system.” Honestly, I have no idea what that means or entails, but it’s one of those vibrating face brush things that you use with your face wash to get super clean skin, and WOW. I can’t even begin to describe how soft my skin is. I have fairly decent skin to begin with, but I can definitely usually feel a little bumpiness/roughness on my cheeks and right now- no lies- it’s as smooth as baby’s skin. Like, SO SOFT. It’s weird. I exfoliate a couple times a week normally and that never gets rid of the uneven texture of my skin, but this brush did on the first use. I do have quite sensitive skin and even on the lowest setting this brush feels a little rough on my skin during use, but nothing so bad that I’d rather not use it. My skin doesn’t hurt after use either, though the normally rougher sections of my cheeks are a bit red right now (I JUST used it, which is why writing about this is on my mind, haha). I assume it’s because it just gave that part of my cheeks a seriously needed exfoliation. Overall, I’m super pleased with how nice my skin feels! I’ll be doing a more detailed review with some photos and whatnot within the next month.
SO, anyways, that is my update on life. If I’m being honest to myself, the rest of the month will probably pretty dead here on the blog. I want to be able to enjoy my time in New Zealand with family and friends as much as possible, so any downtime I have will be spent getting stuff done for design clients so I don’t fall too far behind on those things, and therefore I probably won’t have much- if any- time to spend on here. That being said, I intend to be back full force as soon as I’m home from our trip, so all will be back to normal then!
Anything new and exciting happening in your life at the moment?
