I totally picked up this palette on a whim. I had received an email from ULTA about TWO Too Faced gifts with purchase that were really good, and so I jumped on the site really quick to see if anything tickled my fancy enough to spend $50. Pretty much the first thing I saw was the Too Faced Stardust by Vegas Nay Palette, that I had already been thinking about getting (because I loooove Too Faced shadows), so I bought it.
The Too Faced Stardust by Vegas Nay palette was created in collaboration with the gorgeous Instagrammer @Vegas_Nay (if you couldn’t tell by the name, haha). It’s got twelve shadows which are generally all either some form of neutrals or purples. Being the sucker for free things that I am, what really sold me was that in addition to the gift with purchase (which was all Too Faced deluxe sized samples- lipstick, melted lipstick, makeup bag, mascara, Born This Way foundation and a primer), the palette came with a primer sample, mascara sample and glitter dust sample. So, yeah… I was pretty easily convinced to buy this, haha. It also came with 6 little tutorial cards for different eye looks which I actually find super useful, I’m really excited to try each of the looks.
There’s a perfect mix of matte, shimmery, sparkly and metallic shadows in this palette. I like that the shadows I’d usually use for blending and on the lashline are all matte- this saves me having to use another palette in coordination with this. Most of the shimmery/sparkly shadows have a tiny bit of fallout, but nothing unexpected or crazy. The metallics are what really sold me on this though- look at that bronze and gold, so stunning! Basically all of the shadows in this palette have great color payoff and blend out beautifully.

The Too Faced Stardust by Vegas Nay Palette is $45 (and worth every penny, in my opinion!) and is an ULTA-exclusive.
Will you be getting the this palette?
