I am so glad that SEPHORA Collection products are becoming more popular, because they really do deserve the recognition. The SEPHORA Pro brushes are absolutely amazing (I own several and use them daily!), they have some beautiful palettes, and I am loving so many of their lip products. This is another post that I am so late in posting due to the craziness that was my life the past few months, but I did want to share it regardless, because there are some really great products here!
There are SO many cushion products on the market these days thanks to the influence of Korean beauty. I personally love them, because I find they’re usually very easy to apply and they always leave a very flawless finish, so I couldn’t wait to try the SEPHORA Collection I ❤ Cushion Glossy Eyeliner.
The I ❤ Cushion Glossy Eyeliner comes with it’s own brush, but to be honest, it’s not my favorite. I find it to be too stiff to follow the angle of my upper lashline and so I prefer using a different liner brush. I struggled to get a clean, even line when using the brush that came with it, but found it easier to work with when using a different liner brush that had more flex and softness to it. While I love how easy it is to create a precise wing with the wet formula of this liner, it is difficult to build up pigmentation without swiping the previously applied liner away. This is certainly not the worst liner I’ve ever used, but I probably wouldn’t recommend it either.
Two products I was bound to love are the SEPHORA Pro Collection Stippling Concealer and Press Full Coverage Precision brushes. I looooove SEPHORA Pro brushes, as I already mentioned above. These two brushes are new additions to the line for spring and both perform beautifully.
The Stippling Concealer brush is one perfect concealer brush, let me tell you. It’s got a flat side and an angled side- the flat side is great for concealing blemishes or larger areas (for me that would be my always red nose), and the angled side is perfect for getting under the eyes.
The Press Full Coverage Precision brush is a bit of an all-in-one wonder. It’ll blend out pretty much anything and is great for areas of your face that you can’t get into very well with a foundation brush. It’s super dense but also super soft- a really nice combo!
And last but not least, we have the SEPHORA Collection Rouge Cream Lipsticks. I had never tried these before, but they have really good ratings so my expectations were high. Long story short, I will definitely be going back for more shades!
These lipsticks have a creamy, hydrating formula and come in a ton of different colors. They are super pigmented and at $12.50 a pop, it’s hard to not want to buy a whole bunch! I found these to be quite long-lasting in comparison to some of my other lipsticks, and I think that’s because while the formula is creamy, it’s not super buttery soft creamy. It feels like it has a bit more hold to it than a lipstick that is so smooth it just slips right off the lips. I really like the formula of these and the shade selection is amazing!
From top: Delicious Temptation (which really doesn’t suit me, haha), Irresistible Attraction, Call Me Baby, Very Good Trip (my fave!)
