Back in April, I posted about how I was revamping my summer wardrobe on a budget using thredUP, an online secondhand store. It’s pretty genius, really- you can search by clothing type, brand, size, color, etc, as well as get details on any potential imperfections in whatever pieces you have your eye on (though the vast majority of what I’ve come across is like-new condition!). It’s secondhand shopping without spending the day digging through dusty old stores (and also from the comfort of your home, possibly with a glass of wine and maybe no pants, hahaha).
I just placed another thredUP order the other day, and for $50 I got two dresses, a romper, a sweater, a plaid poncho (okay, I know it’s summer, but I couldn’t resist such an amazing deal and I will wear it all fall and winter long!), three skirts, and a tank top. FOR FIFTY DOLLARS. And the craziest part is that that wasn’t even with the 40% sale they currently have going on (use code WOW40 to take advantage of that amazingness).
I wanted to throw together some outfits using pieces found on thredUP to show you how insane the savings are (and how amazing some of the pieces are on this site)! Sorry though, the Forever21 romper and Lush dress have already been purchased by me ;)
Retail value: $218
thredUP total: $25.97

Amazing savings, right? I highly, highly recommend shopping on thredUP if you want to revamp your wardrobe for summer (or even if you want to start scoping out some fall pieces, now is probably a good time since most people are in a summer mindset and won’t be fighting for the best fall stuff).
