If you haven’t already read my review on the NARS Velvet Lip Glides, then I’ll just break it down for you real quick. They’re the BESSSSST. I am in love with them. They’re supposed to be a liquid lipstick, but in my opinion, they’re more of a super pigmented, totally non-sticky gloss. I want to hoard every single shade ever, and the NARS x Sarah Moon Mind Game Velvet Lip Glide Set is the perfect start to that hoarding!
There are six minis (which are quite decently sized at 0.12oz/3.5ml, when the full size is 0.2oz/5.9ml) in this set, and they’re all gorgeous. Being that this set of six retails for $45, when a single full sized Velvet Lip Glide will run you $34, it is probably the biggest steal of a deal you’re going to find all year!
From left: Bound (my personal fave- a rose pink), No. 675 (a medium brownish red), Unspeakable (a dark reddish plum), Chez Claude (a medium pinkish plum), Plato’s (a medium berry), Toy (a deep plum). Don’t laugh at my unprofessional sounding color descriptions, because the ones on Sephora seem totally off, so I had to figure them out myself, hahaha.
I’m going to keep this post pretty short and sweet, because I don’t feel like a full review is needed when I’ve already done one on the NARS Velvet Lip Glides, but seriously- if you had any intention at all of trying these, this set is definitely the way to go.
Also, one other thing. Since putting in a lot of effort to educate myself on the ingredients in the products that I slather all over my face and body everyday, I’ve been doing a LOT of googling for ingredients. Unfortunately, it can be incredibly time consuming when ingredients aren’t necessarily available everywhere- so I want to become a bit of an ingredient resource. I plan to include ingredient lists in all of my future product reviews, so hopefully anyone who is on the hunt for them can actually find them!
This set is a Sephora exclusive, and at the time of posting this, it is currently sold out. Hold your horses and keep your eye out for a restock though, because this is worth the wait!
