I am in love with the Mother’s Day GLOSSYBOX. From the packaging to what’s inside, it’s just perfection. And, even better is that I know this has products in it that my mom would love as well, so it definitely appeals to a wide age range of women! It was a limited edition box and unfortunately is all sold out, but this certainly has me keeping an eye out for the next limited edition box that gets released!
If you aren’t familiar with GLOSSYBOX, it’s a monthly beauty subscription that is $21/month (or $18.50 if you purchase a full year’s subscription all at once). They send you five luxury beauty products a month, all wrapped up in a pretty little box. I am honestly loving getting all these pretty boxes from the beauty subscription boxes I receive every month- I hoard them all and use them to store stuff- so the box itself is kind of like a sixth item for me ;) So, let’s get into the box contents, because obviously that’s what we’re all here for! Keep in mind as you’re looking through everything that this limited edition box cost $40. You’ll be amazed!
First up is this gorgeous Bodyography Cream Shadow in Glimmer. I made a bit of a mess of it in the photo after swatching, oops. I couldn’t really tell if this was going to be more pink or more copper before swatching, but it was definitely more copper. It’s SO pretty, SO soft and just glides right on the skin. This is a full size product that retails for $20.
Next is this Laura Geller Inkcredible Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Brown Eyed Girl. It is a dark chocolatey brown- the perfect brown liner color, in my opinion. It glides on with no tugging on the skin and it also claims to be waterproof- I can go as far as to say that it took a bit of a scrub to get the swatch off my hand, but I haven’t properly used it yet. This liner is a full size that retails for $20.
This Fusion Beauty Lipfusion Infatuation in Pucker Up is a product that I thought I wasn’t going to like, but it turns out I actually love it. It is so easy to apply, it’s a gorgeous, super pigmented color and it smells really nice! It makes my lips tingle which I also like, because I’m always hopeful that if there is a tingle, they’ll get plumped up a bit, haha. This is a full size product that retails for $29.
I have been all about face masks lately, so this Orogold Cosmetics 24k Bionic Complex Thermal Mask was something in this box I was really excited about. I actually just went and put it on for the purpose of this post, hahahah. It gets warm as soon as it’s on your skin (don’t ask me how, haha) and it feels like the feels of being wrapped up in a cozy blanket, but on your face. You’re supposed to leave this on for 15 minutes, and after being warm and cozy for a bit, it starts feeling a bit prickly, like it’s really extracting the gunk out of your pores. It doesn’t have a scent, and I feel a bit so-so about that, because while I do love something that smells nice, I’d rather it smell like nothing then smell bad, you know? This mask is a full size product and retails for $298. Uuuuum, that’s the box value times seven and a half. Whaaat?! Best value in a subscription box, ever.
Next up is the Vichy ProEVEN Daily Dark Spot Corrector. I’ve got a face full of freckles and dark spots, so I am more than happy to give this product a test run! My skin can also use all the brightening it can get, haha. It smells SO good- I can’t put my finger on it exactly, but it’s a very fresh scent. It’s super light and soft on the skin, and contains mother-of-pearl pigments that help to blur imperfections and illuminate your skin, as well as skin-resurfacing ingredients to get to work on it for the long-term. This, again, is a full size product and retails for $45.
Last, and probably my most favorite product in the box, is this Vince Camuto Bella Rollerball Perfume. It’s described as a floral, fruity fragrance with tones of nectarine blossoms, jasmine water, italian bergamot and white amber. It reminds me of this jasmine and something scented body spray by Mary Kate & Ashley that I had like ten years ago, and I think that might be why I like this so much. It is another full size product and it retails for $22.
Overall, I am insanely impressed with the value in this box. If I can do math (which I can’t, so take the following calculation with a grain of salt, haha), this Mother’s Day GLOSSYBOX– which retails for $40- has a total value of $434. That is crazy. These are also pretty much all products that I never would have purchased on my own, but am excited to have found through this limited edition box!
If you want to sign up for GLOSSYBOX yourself, which I highly recommend, you can do so here. You get five luxury beauty products a month and the monthly boxes are just as awesome as this limited edition one! I’ll have a post up soon sharing what I got in my April GLOSSYBOX as well!
Have you tried any of the products in this box?
