I’ve already mentioned this before, but the original Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume was one of my first ever actual loves when it came to fragrance (if you aren’t counting the jasmine scented Mary Kate & Ashley body spray I used to be obsessed with, haha). My boyfriend’s mom always used to wear it and I just thought it was the nicest smelling perfume.
I ended up getting the Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh perfume for Christmas one year, and quickly fell in love with that as well. Long story short- I LOVE Marc Jacobs Daisy perfumes. So, naturally, the second I heard about the Marc Jacobs Daisy Blush perfume collection that features both fruity and floral notes (my faves), I knew that I needed to try them all!
Let’s start with Daisy Dream Blush, shall we? Daisy Dream Blush could be my favorite of the three, but I can’t quite decide. The bottle is different from the other two, and is a super cute addition to my fragrance collection. It features notes of violet leaves, lily of the valley, vetiver, waterlily, rose, clean musks, bergamot and freesia. This one is quite floral, but also has a toned down sweetness to it. It smells amazing!
Daisy Blush has notes of waterlily, frozen pear, bergamot, lily of the valley, mimosa, honeysuckle, skin musks and precious woods. I find Daisy Blush to be the most sophisticated and “grown up” of them all. It reminds me a lot of the original Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume. I like this one a lot, but of the three, it will probably be the one I reach for least.
Daisy Eau So Fresh Blush is in competition with Daisy Dream Blush for my favorite of the three. It has notes of pink grapefruit, mandarin, apple, freesia, rose, lily of the valley, apricot nectar, cedarwood and musks. The fruitiness really pulls through in this one (which is why I think I like it so much), but not in an overwhelming, sickening sweet kind of way. I loooooove this one!
The Marc Jacobs Daisy Blush collection is limited edition, so if these bottles and scents are up your alley, definitely get to Sephora and treat yourself ASAP. I can already tell you, these are going to be everyday wear perfumes for me- I can’t get enough of them!
