I am super late with this month’s Mapleblume box review due to the whole getting married, moving my life into storage, going on a month-long honeymoon and moving into a new place as soon as I got back situation, but my post is finally here and I’m excited about it, haha. If you’re new here, Mapleblume is a quarterly luxury beauty box featuring clean skincare and makeup products. I’ve discovered tons of my most favorite products through this box!
The November Mapleblume box honestly feels like it was curated just for me and my needs. After all of the traveling (read: life-sucking air conditioning in airplanes), my skin is basically falling to pieces. My hair is also falling to pieces from using sucky hotel shampoo and conditioner for a month straight and I’m basically just a hot mess, haha. Lucky for me, the products in this month’s box will help get me back on track!
Let’s start with skincare products, because some good skincare is what my skin needs REALLY badly right now. The feature product this month is the MS Skincare Jaipur Brightening Enzyme Mask ($115.75CAD). It’s a resurfacing treatment formulated with glycolic acid + fruit enzymes to remove dead surface cells, repair free radical damage and smooth skin texture (yes to all of that). I will definitely be trying this out tonight!
Next for skincare is the Province Apothecary Nourishing + Revitalizing Moisturizer ($40CAD), which sounds like the perfect complement to the resurfacing mask. It helps to replenish the skin’s moisture barrier while also smoothing the look of wrinkles.
For hair, the November Mapleblume box includes the Inlight Beauty Hair Elixir ($68.20CAD), which has apparently won awards (exciting!). It’s a pre-shampoo treatment made of a restorative and nourishing oil blend that delivers hydration and improves elasticity. It smells like lavender and lemon zest, too… does it get any better than that?
Last, and always the part of the box I’m most excited about, the makeup products! This month’s box features two products from Honeybee Gardens, a brand I’d heard a lot about but hadn’t yet tried myself. Included is the Truly Natural Lipstick ($19.75CAD) in the shade Risque (which feels very nice on the lips) and the Irresistible Lip Liner ($11.85CAD) in Charisma. They pair together perfectly for a beautiful berry lip- so fitting for this time of year!
The total value of this month’s Mapleblume box is $255.55CAD, and a subscription will run you $120 per box (or $130 for one time purchase). Yes, the boxes are always this packed full of amazing value and yes, they’re always this good (if not better). The November box is still available, so head over to their site to check it out if you’re interested!
