MAC always comes out with the most fun collections. I always love the themes they go with for their products, and this one is certainly no exception to that love. The MAC Flamingo Park Collection for spring 2016 is full of bright pinks and I can’t get enough of it! I have been stuck in dreary winter mode for a while now, so this definitely feels like a bit of a light at the end of the tunnel.
There are seven different blushes in this collection (with one of those, Oh, My!, being an online exclusive) and there isn’t one I don’t like. The two I have are What I Fancy (a soft but bright apricot with a satin finish) and Let’s Be Friends (a blue hot-pink with a satin finish). They both have gorgeous pigmentation and are actually my first ever MAC blushes. Let me tell you, my collection is about to start growing if they are all as stunning as these two! These blushes retail for $22USD/$26CAD.
I’ve already mentioned several times on this blog that I am not a big fan of lipgloss, but the MAC Cremesheen Glasses MAY have changed my mind. There are five shades in the Flamingo Park Collection and the two I have are Sweet Tooth (a warm mid-tone pink) and Petite Indulgence (a bright blue-pink). I have quite pink lips to begin with, so these both show up fairly similar on me, with the main difference being that one is more warm looking and the other is cooler looking. These are SO comfortable to wear and not sticky at all. They retail for $20USD/$24CAD.
Last, and definitely most colorful and fun of all, is the Flamingo Park Eyeshadow Palette. It has nine shades that could easily create quite a variety of different looks and I’m definitely excited to play around with some colors that are outside of my usual “neutrals only” territory. This eyeshadow palette retails for $40USD/$48CAD.
Also in this collection are three pigments, two nail lacquers, nine lipsticks (of which a few I NEED, like Flocking Fabulous and The Fashion Flock. Seriously gorgeous colors in this collection!), three lip pencils, a powder/blush brush, two shades of Technakohl liner, a mascara and two beauty powders. The MAC Flamingo Park Collection will be available online on January 28th and in-stores on February 4th and something tells me it will sell quick, being that it’s all so pretty and I know I’m not the only one dying for a taste of spring!
Are you hoping to get anything from the MAC Flamingo Park Collection?
