I was sent some hair products from a new-to-me salon brand named Lisap over the summer, and now that I’ve had the chance to use them more than a handful of times, I wanted to share my thoughts with you!
Let’s start with the Lisap Summer Care Sun Protective Oil Spray, a shine spray that is meant to protect your hair from UV rays. It’s infused with babassu oil and pomegranate that not only to help to protect your hair from damage, but also hydrates your hair while leaving it with a pretty, glossy finish. This isn’t heavy on the hair at all and the shine factor makes my hair look super healthy. The only bad thing I have to say about this product is that at first spray, it reeks of alcohol. Thankfully, it dries down quick (likely due to said alcohol, haha) and you’re left with a really delicious scent that I don’t even think I can describe. I love the scent, once you get past the initial spray.
I feel like the Lisap Summer Care After Sun Mask is the real star of this line. It helps reverse dehydration caused by salt water, chlorine and too much sun- all of the stuff that equals a good summer, right? Being that my hair has been bleached a few times, it is very easily prone to dryness, but a good slather of this After Sun Mask really does the trick. There’s no English instructions on the mask itself (these are Italian products), but I just leave it on for 30mins to an hour and then wash it out. My hair feels super conditioned afterwards and has the same yummy scent that the oil spray gives (sans alcohol smell).
Other than the initial alcohol scent in the spray, I’m really, really enjoying these products. They are definitely ones I’ll continue to use year round, because my hair is always borderline dry, so the mask is basically a necessity, and I love the healthy shine that the spray gives.
As I mentioned before, Lisap is a salon brand, so that’s where you’ll find their products. I find their website extremely difficult to navigate, so if you want to know where you can get your hands on these products in Canada, have a look on their contact page. As for my American readers, I honestly can’t find anywhere on where you can purchase from, sorry!
