I flipflop a lot between whether or not I need to use several skincare products to get the results I desire. On one hand, it’s fun to try out different combinations of products to see what works best together, but on the other, sometimes it’s just so nice to not have to consciously think about what to combine and just roll with minimal products that are formulated to perform well together.
I’ve been taking a line of the latter from the brand LaFlore Probiotic Skincare for a test run lately and I’ve got to say… the simplicity in my skincare routine is definitely refreshing! It’s so nice to not have to think about what to pair with what and just go with a simple 3-step process. What’s even better than the simplicity of it, though, is the fact that it actually works for me.
LaFlore creates skincare products based on probiotic technology and a blend of plant-based ingredients. The focus is on a straightforward 3-step process that helps your skin protect, recharge and recover so it can perform naturally like it did when it was younger. Sounds good to me!
The LaFlore Probiotic Cleanser is made with a base of sugar beet and coconut oil, and is gentle yet super effective. I love that it doesn’t make my skin feel dry and tight, but it still gets everything off. It contains pineapple extract which acts as a natural exfoliant, so you can also leave this cleanser on dry skin for up to 90 seconds before rinsing to get the full effect. The probiotic cocktail in this cleanser promotes cell renewal and skin hydration.
My favorite product in the line is the LaFlore Probiotic Concentrated Serum. It helps to boost the immune system, increase cell communication and calm inflammation in order to allow your skin to rest and heal. The main ingredient is aloe, which is known for it’s healing properties. The probiotic cocktail in this product stimulates skin self-renewal and accelerates the skin’s barrier recovery, amongst many other things.
The LaFlore Probiotic Daily Defense Moisturizer is lightweight but packs a punch. It’s chock-full of good for you ingredients like pycnogenol (a potent antioxidant), bisabolol oil (helps protect skin from UV and environmental damage), pomegranate seed oil (another strong antioxidant that helps to “protect skin from environmental stressors and prevent premature aging”) and more. Although it is lightweight, it will generally keep my dry skin hydrated throughout the day. If I’m feeling at all dry later on in the day, I’ll just apply another extra pump or two!
The whole LaFlore Probiotic Skincare line is plant-based, organic, ECOCERT (planet friendly), cruelty-free and free of tons of nasty ingredients that are often found in skincare products, such as mineral oil, propylene glycol, sulfates, parabens, petrochemicals, dimethicones, phthalates and more.
This line is suitable for all skin types, being that it works to restore your skin to it’s natural, healthy state. If you are the type that likes to keep it simple and effective when it comes to your skincare, LaFlore Probiotic Skincare is most definitely worth a try!
