It’s time for an Ipsy Glam Bag review! I finally got off the waitlist for Ipsy last month, but didn’t get last month’s bag in time to share everything without spamming the world with yet another Ipsy post. This month’s bag is late too but I don’t even care, I want to share for everyone who may not see reviews elsewhere! If you haven’t signed up for Ipsy, you definitely should. At only $10 a month (+ $4.95 shipping if you live in Canada which really isn’t that bad at all), I certainly look forward to this happy mail!
One of my favorite things this month was the bag itself. Last month was a cute little Rebecca Minkoff floral makeup bag that I have been using to stash in my backpack when I am going away for a weekend, and this month’s is perfect to keep my lipglosses and chapsticks organized in my handbag! I love the hot pink color and the scalloped edges.
First up in my July bag is this deluxe sample of Marrakesh Endz argan & hemp oil therapy. As I said in my Neutrogena post, I have been using argan oil pretty religiously lately, so while this wasn’t the most exciting product in the bag, I will definitely get good use out of it.
This was also something I wasn’t thrilled about getting in my bag, but will go to good use as this product is for my skin type AND contains SPF, so I’ll definitely be using it up.
I was excited for this one! This is Tints & Sass, a lip and cheek tint. I have never really tried out lip or cheek tints much, so I’m excited to use this. While I totally thought it would be red because of the bottle, it’s more of a berry tone. It’s really pretty! I love the color on my lips but I’m not sure how well I would suit it on my cheeks. It also smells super sweet and edible.. yum.
One of my favorite products I got was this deluxe eyeshadow sample of bareMinerals Ready Eyeshadow. I haven’t used it yet but I can already tell I’ll love the colors. I don’t have anything like this plum shade, so I’m excited to try it for a night out. I also love that the packaging gives me a little tutorial on how to create both a day and night look with these colors!
And the award for coolest packaging goes to….. BIG look mascara by pur! While I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t get Benefit’s They’re Real mascara in my bag (that is my #1 must have beauty product. Seriously, best mascara in existence for people with short lashes. I have literally been asked if I am wearing fake eyelashes before because it just makes my sucky little lashes SO long! And while we’re on the topic, I want to try the They’re Real Push Up Gel Liner SO bad too!), I am in love with the packaging of this so I have high hopes. I don’t use waterproof mascara often but I will definitely try this for next time I do.
Overall, I am again very happy with my bag for this month! I will definitely stay subscribed to Ipsy and I totally recommend that you sign up too if you like finding and trying out new beauty products (in decent sample sizes!).
