Check out my other Valentine’s day makeup tutorials, too! natural // pink // drugstore
I can’t believe it’s only a month until Valentine’s Day! I love it for many reasons… you get to spend time with your favorite human (and yeah, I don’t need the anti-Valentine’s Day spiel about how you’re supposed to show someone you love them everyday, because I do, I just also don’t have anything against a day where you go all out!), you get to eat chocolate, sometimes you get pretty flowers, and best of all, it’s an excuse to get all dolled up with a glam Valentine’s Day makeup look!
This year, I’ve planned early- and by planned early, I mean I heard a Brad Paisley concert announcement on the radio and immediately bought tickets, then proceeded to tell Cole he had to come because it’s Valentine’s Day, ahahaha. Yes, totally selfish of me, but BRAD PAISLEY!!! Haha, anyways… for this glam Valentine’s Day makeup look, I went ALL out with the glitter and falsies, and I seriously love it.
On my face:
- Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer (I LOVE this stuff. It’s got coconut water in it and my dry skin just drinks it up)
- MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Foundation in Y225
- theBalm Time Balm Concealer in Light (this has an orange tint and works great as a corrector for my dark circles)
- Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair (where has this been all my life?)
- Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder (only used to set concealer under eyes)
- Benefit Hoola Bronzer
- Chanel Luminous Bronzing Powder in Sable Rose (more a blush than a bronzer, and also is an old LE product, but NYX Powder Blush in Pinched or NARS Orgasm are probably quite similar)
- BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone
- Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
On my brows:
- The Face Shop Style My Eyebrow in Grey Brown
- Benefit Gimme Brow in Medium/Deep
On my eyes:
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Self Made Palette (get this ASAP if you want it, because it’s limited edition and is selling out everywhere slowly but surely!)
- Sherbert blended in and slightly above crease
- Hot & Cold blended in crease, not brought up as high as Sherbert
- Treasure applied wet (using Mac Fix+) and patted onto lid and inner corner
- Witchy very lightly blended into outer v of eye
- Buttery used as brow highlight
- Lower lashline: Witchy on outer edge, Hot & Cold on middle, Treasure on inner edge
- Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eye Liner in Intense Black (winged out)
- Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eye Liner in Glam Rock (Midnight Cowboy will be my next purchase for sure!) on lower lashline (this stuff is incredible if you like glitter but don’t like the mess that usually comes with it. So easy and clean to use!)
- MAKE UP FOR EVER Smoky Extravagant Mascara
- Lashes were either MAKE UP FOR EVER Lash Show Instant Drama False Lashes in N-303 or KISS i-ENVY in Diva 01, I honestly can’t remember which
On my lips:
- Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfecting Base (I don’t think this has launched in North America yet, but when it does, GET YOU SOME. I have permanently dry lips and this makes lipsticks apply SO much more smoothly, and stay on longer)
- Essence Lip Liner in Honey Berry
- Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Melted Berry
And there you have it, my glam Valentine’s Day makeup look! I’m pretty happy I actually got one of these up before Valentine’s Day this year… the last couple of years I’ve either totally forgot, or posted ON Valentine’s Day because I remembered last minute, haha. Go me for being organized!
Do you like to go all out with your Valentine’s Day makeup?

I looove this look on you so much! Your eyes and lips just pop! And it’s not like the glitter hurts either! ;)
Chelsea says
Thank you so much Chelle! Means a lot coming from the eyeshadow master ;) <3

Chelsea says
Thanks Linda! :)

Really love that lip color! I’m also interested in the primer – I don’t usually put a lot of makeup on, but I always love a good primer that makes your skin look even. Plus coconut water – a perfect combo!
Chelsea says
I have never been someone who praises a primer and for a long time I didn’t even use primer, but I LOVE this primer. It’s so hydrating, which helps everything apply much smoother, and with my dry skin, I can use all the extra hydration I can get! Definitely try it!
Jessica Fancy says
You are so pretty! Also, I love this look. Thanks for sharing!
Chelsea says
Awww, thank you Jessica!
Logan Can says
I will have to try that replenishing face primer! My face can get so dry in the winter months.
Chelsea says
You should! I get quite dry skin, especially this time of year, and I LOVE it.
CHelsie says
Love the lip color you choose! I actually ended up returning my Self-Made palette. The quality was amazing as always, but the colors just weren’t something I was able to reach for on a daily basis, so I wanted to get something I would use more!
Chelsea says
I loooove the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks and this one is definitely my favorite shade this time of year :) Aw, that’s too bad! I totally understand though. This is the palette I’ve been reaching for a lot for glammed up looks like this, so I’m enjoying it quite a lot!
Samantha says
I’ve been eyeing that Hangover primer but it seems so expensive for such a little tube! Does a little bit of product go a long way?

Chelsea says
A full size goes a long way for almost any primer, because you use so little product with each application. I’ve actually just been using a deluxe sample size for quite a while now and haven’t even had to buy a full size yet.. but it’s nearing the end of it’s life, so definitely placing an ULTA order ASAP!

I love this look! So pretty and still natural.

Such a gorgeous glam look! I love that lower lash glitter! (I think you forgot it in your post though, but it’s definitely on my wishlist now!)
Chelsea says
How could I possibly forget the most important part!?!?! Hahah… oops! Just added it, thanks for the heads up ;)
Chrystie says
That lipstick is to die for! Adding it to my sephora wish list! :)
Chelsea says
It’s definitely a favorite of mine, you’ll love it :)
Katherine says
Hmm, I feel like I’ve seen this look recently ;) While I’ll probably spend Valentine Day’s at home in my pjs and a Gregory Peck movie, I think this look is perfect if you are going out for the evening! I’m loving that lipstick shade!

I have heard good things about primer with coconut water in it! I love the look, very glowing and sweet <3
Chelsea says
Yes, I’m seriously annoyed at myself for not trying coconut water primer sooner! I want to get the Marc Jacobs one next :) Thank you!
Kelly says
That lip color is killer and your eyes are SO blue!

Chelsea says
Thanks Kelly! :)
Sarah says
I love this look! I rarely wear much makeup but I think this would look pretty natural while still being dressy for Valentine’s Day :)
Chelsea says
Agreed! I usually keep things pretty neutral toned and subdued when it comes to my makeup, so when I do get “glam” it’s basically just a slightly more intense version of my usual, haha.
Sophie Stewart says
Love the lip colour! Sophie xx

Okay, that red was MADE for you. I swear. It looks so stunning with your complexion and your eyes… You’re so beautiful. :D
Chelsea says
Aw thanks so much Angie! :)
Angie Scheie says
Pretty! I’m digging the Urban Decay eye liner, and Treasure eye shadow. Great look. Have fun at the concert, and Happy Valentine’s Day!
Chelsea says
The UD liner is AMAZING. If you ever avoid glitter because it’s an absolute mess, you NEED this. I’m obsessed and want every color now, haha.
Cara says
This is such a gorgeous look on you! I love the pop of glitter on the bottom lid, that adds such a nice touch!
Vet Leow says
Your lipstick colour look very flattering on your skin…very pretty!
Renata says
