Fun fact: when I was 18 and in my first year of university, I got a job working for L’Oreal (who owns Garnier) as a person who stands inside Walmart and convinces you to buy their products. While I worked a single shift before deciding it was quite possibly the most boring job in the world (turns out the haircare aisle in my Walmart wasn’t that bumpin’ of a place) and quitting, I did gain quite the appreciation for Garnier products, as we played with them a lot and learned a ton about them in the job’s training.
The newest product in the fairly extensive line of Garnier is the Whole Blends shampoos and conditioners. There are six different varieties of these new shampoo and conditioner combos: Green Tea and Green Apple (to revitalize and boost shine), Coconut Water and Vanilla Milk (to quench and soften), Cocoa Butter and Coconut Oil (to smooth), Argan Oil and Cranberry (to boost your color), Avocado Oil and Shea Butter (to nourish and hydrate), and Royal Jelly, Proplish and Honey (to heal and protect). Basically, they’re combinations of goodness that each work different wonders for your hair! Best of all, they are all paraben-free. All the gold stars for you, Garnier!
I have tried out both the Hydrating (coconut water and vanilla milk), Repairing (royal jelly, propolis and honey) and Color Boost (argran oil and cranberry) varieties (the latter of which I totally forgot that I got a few weeks ago and could’ve included in these photos/review as well, haha), and am really liking them all! I can’t comment on long term results as I’ve only been using these for about a week now, but they all immediately made my hair super soft and they smell SO good. If you have ever read my blog before, it’s likely you know I LOVE all things coconut, so that one is definitely my favorite of the three Whole Blends I’ve tried thus far!
If you’re interested in trying out the new Garnier Whole Blends shampoos and conditioners yourself, then you just may be in luck! Garnier Canada is currently giving away free samples on their Facebook page (the first 20,000 people, so don’t wait!), and you can also share the deal with a friend once you’ve claimed your own sample. This one is for my lovely fellow Canadian readers only. Enjoy!
Have you tried any of the Garnier Whole Blends shampoos and conditioners yet?
