If you guys follow me on Instagram stories, you’ll know that I’ve been really into working out the past few months. At first, I started working out in preparation for the Southeast Asia trip that I’m currently on. I wanted to look and feel confident in my bikini, considering I’d be spending a good portion of our trip in one.
While my physical appearance was my initial goal, as I got more and more into working out and finding what types of fitness I enjoyed doing most, my goals changed. Working out became less about how good I looked in my bikini (of course that was still a perk, though) and more about how good it made me feel, how strong I felt, and how much more energy I had.
I can’t recommend finding a workout you love enough. Half an hour a day can do wonders for both your fitness AND confidence levels. Speaking of confidence, I don’t want anything to affect it during my workouts because that is what makes me work my hardest.
