On top of that, I’ve also been trying to pay more attention to what my clothes are made of and how they’re made, particularly when it comes to the stuff I’m wearing day in and day out, like comfy shorts and yoga pants. tasc Performance apparel is a new to me brand that I honestly can’t believe I hadn’t discovered sooner, considering that I essentially live in activewear, haha.
tasc Performance apparel “looks to nature for performance, not chemicals from a lab” which is probably the most appealing factor to me. I’m in leggings or shorts literally 95% of the year, whether that be because I’m stationed in front of the computer for the day to get some work done and I need comfort, or because Cole and I are off on our next outdoor adventure and I need comfort AND performance.
I want to know that the clothes I’m wearing on a constant basis are not only super comfortable and will hold up to whatever I’m putting them through, but also that the standards to which they are being made are very high (seriously, go read their about page to learn about how sustainable and eco-friendly they are… color me impressed!) and they are not treated with a bunch of nasty chemicals. tasc Performance apparel covers all of that!
I chose the NOLA Reversible Booty Short (yes, REVERSIBLE. So good!) and Pizzazz II Tunic for the purposes of this review, and I am obsessed with both pieces. At first look alone, you can see the quality. The materials feel so nice, there are no loose threads anywhere and they look exactly like the photos on the site.
Putting both items on, however, was the deal sealer. I am sitting here wearing both pieces as I type this, haha, and I can tell you that they are some of the most comfortable, well fitting pieces of clothing in my closet (and I have a LOT of activewear from several different brands, including some that cost over double what these pieces cost).
The shorts are thick enough that I can wear underwear that would give panty lines in anything else, but in these they aren’t visible at all, and they have the perfect amount of compression to lift your butt a little bit, but are super breathable and they don’t ride up. The top is loose fitting, but not boxy- it still follows my figure without being tight. Also, it has a cowl neck with a hood AND thumbholes, so there’s that for a selling point!
If you are an activewear girl like myself and want some pieces that’ll take you from the gym to work to errand running and everything else, check out tasc Performance apparel. You can use the code EXPERIENCEBAMBOO for 20% off your first order!
