I’ve been using Conair hair tools and products ever since I started doing anything with my hair. My first straightener was a Conair one, way back in the day! I’m pretty sure my first curling iron was a Conair one as well. While I loved their products then, they have come a LONG way with their technology! One of their most innovative products is the Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret®. I’ve written about it before (and shared other easy curly hairstyles) and about how foolproof and easy it is, so I won’t go into too much detail on that again because you can read all my thoughts in that post. I will say again, though, that it is just straight up genius. If you are one of those people who simply cannot grasp the concept of using a curling wand and curling iron (and hey, I am NOT judging. They are tricky and I still really struggle with using a curling iron, haha), then this is the perfect product for you. It does all the work, all you have to do is give it a section of hair to curl. So so soooo simple.
Using the Curl Secret along with the Infiniti Pro by Conair® 3Q™ Brushless Motor Dryer results in a smooth, shiny and essentially effortless hairstyle. I have never used such a good hair dryer, no lies. It claims to cut your drying time by up to 70%, and I honestly think that is an accurate claim. I have used plenty of dryers, and have never really noticed much of a difference among any of them (as long as were not counting those awful hotel hair dryers that are from the 70’s, haha), but I was SO impressed by the Conair Pro 3Q. Using my other hair dryer, my hair usually takes like ten minutes to get fully dry and I have like fully broken out in a sweat by the time I’m done because it’s so hot. With the Conair Pro 3Q, my hair was dry in like 3 or 4 minutes and I wasn’t hot at all. I was amazed, because I was totally skeptical about this being any better than any other hair dryer. But it is. It really is. Enough talking though, am I right? Let’s see the curly hair styles I ended up doing!
I used the Conair Pro 3Q to blow dry my hair smooth and shiny before starting any of these looks. I use the Conair Velvet Touch paddle brush to dry my hair somewhat straight (I love this brush for blow drying because I’m SO uncoordinated with smaller brushes + a hair dryer all at once. This brush just grabs all my hair for me, haha) so it doesn’t go frizzy and then start curling from there. The only other products I used in any of these looks are regular ol’ hair elastics, hairspray (whatever kind you like to use will do), a teasing comb and Conair bobby pins (hello 90 pack, I lose these like crazy). Also, look at how sleek and shiny my hair looks after being blowdried? So nice!
This first look is one of my favorite fall and winter looks. I only got into wearing beanies last winter because I realized I could pull them off as long as they were men’s beanies (which I find fit looser). Now I have a fairly large collection of different colors and I’m constantly stealing Cole’s. In fact, the one in this photo is his, haha. This is a perfect snow bunny look for when you’ll be spending a lot of time outside and want to look cute but be practical. All I did for this look was do a semi-loose fishtail braid on either side of my head (check Youtube for tutorials on this, it’s surprisingly easy!) and used the Conair Curl Secret to curl a couple of face framing pieces.
This next look is just your basic curly hair. I used the Conair Curl Secret to curl everything, starting at about eye level because I don’t like the curl to go right up close to my head. I used my teasing comb to brush just the last inch or two of hair a little bit to get the curls to blend together nice and softly. I then did a light mist of hairspray over all my curls to help hold them. This head of curly hair is the base for the next two looks, but it would be just fine to wear like this as well!
The next look is one that can be both casual and more formal. It is a great second day hair option if you had curled your hair the day before. I started with the base look in the picture above, a full head of curls. I teased and hairsprayed a few sections of hair at the crown of my head (see Youtube for plenty of great teasing videos), and tied my curls back at about ear level. It’s up to you where to place your ponytail, I just find this position is perfect if I’m wanting to have more volume up top. Once the ponytail is secure, I use the pointy end of my comb to pull up and give a little lift to the sections that I teased until I have the amount of volume that I like. I pull out and re-curl (if necessary) a couple of face framing pieces and give everything a light mist of hairspray.
The last style is another one for those of you that know how to braid. I promise the braids I know how to do are really simple, and practice definitely makes perfect. I recommend trying to master a braid or two yourself if you currently don’t know how, because they can add so much to a hairstyle! This is just using a simple french braid (again, Youtube will be your best friend with this!). It’s a little twist on your typical half-up hairstyle. All I did was part my hair where I usually do (or you can do a center part so your braids are equal size, but I generally look like a creep with a center part, haha), and braid from the top and center of my head out towards my ears and then secure in the back center of my head with bobby pins. I did a french braid and picked up large-ish sections of hair along the way so I would end up with a half-up hairstyle, with the rest pinned at the back of my head. This is also a great casual or more formal hairstyle. I used the pointy end of my teasing comb to lift up the previously teased sections (it was still teased from the ponytail I just showed you) so there was a bit of volume at my crown, and then hairsprayed everything into place.
And that’s that! Four completely different hairstyles, all using two great Conair hair tools. Have I convinced you to add the Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret® and Infiniti Pro by Conair® 3Q™ Brushless Motor Dryer to your Christmas wishlist yet? If so, be sure to check out Walmart for some great deals on both of these products and all of the other great products in the Conair line.

I love how your curls turned out, especially in the last photo with the braid! So cute! I have naturally (super) curly hair but this would be perfect for when I straighten my hair and what to create soft curls <3
Chelsea says
Thank you! It definitely would :) I think I’ve read that it also works with super curly hair.. but I guess you like to straighten first to smooth down your roots and whatnot too :)

I wonder how afraid you were using that vacuum hair curler. I’ve seen people on YouTube use it but I still haven’t gotten over my fear, haha!!
Chelsea says
Haha it’s really not scary at all. If it thinks your hair will tangle, it stops. I’ve never had a tangle happen and it’s super easy to use :)

I really love the half up do. I was sitting here really studying trying to see how you did the little twist in the front and then I realize that you are skipping grabbing the hair and doing a full braid in between! I think this is why I always look like a preschooler when I try to french brain my hair, I’m so trying this in the morning!
Chelsea says
How did it go?! :)

I love the braid!

Wow beautiful hair and love the curls!

This post was really helpful. I really need to get my own blow dryer (I steal my mom’s or sisters). I usually hate blow drying my hair cuz I hate having the heat on me, but it does make my hair look better, so the fact that this actually cuts drying time is awesome.

I love these styles, and I LOVE your hair colour! I saw you mention in an earlier comment that it’s dyed – did you have it done professionally or is it box dye? If it’s boxed, can you share the brand and shade? It’s pretty much the EXACT colour I want for myself :D. Thanks!
Chelsea says
Hey Monica! Thanks so much :) It is salon dyed, I’m not sure I would recommend attempting such a vibrant shade of red at home as I think it’d be pretty difficult to achieve! I asked my stylist for a vibrant red that wasn’t too “Rihanna red” and not too burgundy, somewhere in between. Hope that helps a little bit!

All of these are so stylish and pretty/practical. I have been a skeptic, like you, when it comes to product claims but I will have to look into this hair dryer. The Conair Curl Secret is one item that I am interested in however all I can think of is my hair getting tangled up in it and pulling an entire lump of hair out of my head. I know that sounds kinda overstated but it is true. But I have been interested in this since I first read about it. Thanks for sharing about these products and your different hair styles.
