IT’S OFFICIALLY SPRING! Yeah, that’s a bit delayed considering the first day of spring was on March 20th, but the excitement hasn’t worn off yet, haha. We’ve had sunny weather all week (and dare I say it’s been a little bit hot, even?) and I can’t get enough of it!
Not gonna lie- these warm, sunny days have definitely got me thinking about summer already. I mean, my beach bag is basically packed and ready to go, haha. We also go to Mexico at the end of this month, so I’ve been doing a lot of thinking on what I’ll need to bring for the beach days while I’m there… so excited!
Besides the usual sunscreen, sunglasses and bikini, there are a few other things that I always throw in my beach bag: a water bottle (with lemon water in it, yum!), something to read, and my Burt’s Bees facial cleansing towelettes.
Not only are the Burt’s Bees face wipes amazing for makeup removal, they are also so nice to freshen up with after a long, hot day at the beach. While they are obviously meant for makeup removal, it’s nice to always have them on hand if you are in a pinch and need to wipe your hands off, to freshen up before a deodorant reapplication, or even to clean up your eye makeup if the heat and water has made it run a bit.
The Burt’s Bees facial cleansing towelettes are my all time favorite face wipes because they are SO gentle. My skin can be incredibly sensitive to something that is in a few different brands of face wipes (for real- on more than one occasion I have ended up with swollen Quasimodo eyes from removing my eye makeup with face wipes. It’s the worst!), but I have never had a reaction to the Burt’s Bees wipes, so I recommend them to everyone.
I also love that they are full of natural ingredients (which is probably why I don’t get that crazy allergic reaction with these!), they contain no parabens, phthalates, or petrochemicals AND they are under $6 a pack at Target. Yes, please!
What’s in your beach bag?
