When it comes to jewelry, I prefer to keep it very simple. I like dainty silver pieces that go with everything, so the new Boho by Spence collection is right up my alley! It’s a millennial-focused line built around both values (travel, art, freedom, care for the environment) and value- just my style.
This collection from Spence Diamonds consists of nine symbols, each with their own story. Of the pieces I have, the leaves on the bangle represent purity and respect, the feathers on the earrings represent soaring- opening your heart and letting yourself go, and the earth necklace represents forever adapting and changing. My favorite is definitely the story behind the earrings as it’s something that I’ve been trying to welcome into my life for the past while.
I love how this collection really fits into the travel/wanderlust lifestyle that Cole and I seem to have adapted this year. We’ve spent a month in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, a couple of weeks in Iceland and are now in New Zealand for three months. These pieces serve as the perfect reminder to keep an open heart and open mind on our next adventure!
Best of all, this collection is both ethical and environmentally-friendly. Spence Diamonds alleviates any unethical and environmental impact by using artisan created diamonds. They also donate 1% of Boho by Spence sales to the non-profit organization Not For Sale (to alleviate human trafficking) and are helping to build housing and schools in the Democratic Republic of Congo for those displaced by diamond exploitation.
