I hope you all had an amazing Christmas! It was so nice to spend time with my family and I’m getting super excited about a new year coming up. I think most of us are in agreement that 2016 was a bit of a rough year all around, so I’m definitely ready for a fresh start. There are some big changes coming for Olive & Ivy in 2017, but I’ll save that for a post coming up very soon. Until then…
Bite Beauty is one of my most favorite lipstick brands, especially now that I am looking for cleaner options when it comes to my beauty products. Their tagline is “Bite is beauty for lips that’s good enough to eat.” Their formulas are full of food-grade ingredients, many of which are natural or organic, which is awesome! Their holiday sets every year are amazing, and this year may actually have been the best that I can remember!
You need to get your hands on the The Perfect Bite Set if and when it’s restocked, because oh my gosh. For $25, you get four adorable deluxe-sized Amuse Bouche Lipsticks in the most gorgeous variety of shades: Fig (a nude rose), Pepper (a dusty rose), Honeycomb (a beige nude) and Nori (a deep brown-red). All four shades are gorgeous and the Amuse Bouche formula is so creamy and beautiful.
Bite Beauty does a holiday Discovery Set each year, and I loved this years. It was simple and a really great intro to some of their best products. This years set included one of the Matte Crème Lip Crayons in the shade Léché (a dusty pale pink), their Line & Define Lip Primer (which I haven’t yet tried, so I’m really excited about that), an Amuse Bouche Lipstick in the shade Beetroot (a bold berry- one of their most gorgeous shades, in my opinion) and their oh so famous Agave Lip Mask (which I swear by if you get seriously dry lips like I do). Such a good set! Unfortunately, it’s currently sold out/not even showing up on the Sephora website, but I’d keep an eye out to see if they restock, because it’s worth every penny!
Not a set, but a holiday exclusive shade, is the Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Mistletoe. It’s a beautiful deep red that I feel would be flattering on pretty much every skin tone. It also comes in a cute, limited edition tube with lip prints on it!
The real life of the party lies within these double ended Amuse Bouche Lipstick Duos, though! At $14 a pop, these are amazing value- because who really ever gets through a whole lipstick? One on end is a gorgeous holiday shade and on the other is a fun, festive shade that you apply on top to add some serious glitz and glam. I love these! They come in four different duos: Opal and Jam, Gold and Sour Cherry, Bronze and Pepper, and Rose Gold and Fig (which I don’t have but NEED)! I loveeee these. So holiday perfect!
Are you hoping to get (or have you already bought) any of these sets this year?
