You guys, the Beautycounter holiday 2018 makeup releases are SO. DANG. BEAUTIFUL. Seriously. I want everything (not even exaggerating), but we’re in major “save for the wedding” mode, so I’ve limited myself to a couple things which I’ll share below! There’s lots to show you, so let’s jump right in.
For the face
When I first saw a photo of this highlighter palette, I didn’t think I’d want it… until I saw the swatches. These shades are SO pretty and because the Beautycounter highlighters have a very natural glow to them vs. disco ball vibes, all three of these shades are super wearable. Golden and Sunkissed are new shades, and Halo is an existing bestseller (that I use almost daily).
For the eyes
This palette is a beautiful combo of both warm and cool shades. It has a great mix of mattes, satins and shimmers and the looks you can create with this are endless! Beautycounter eyeshadows are so pigmented, easy to blend, long wearing and the pigments are tested for heavy metals to ensure they meet industry standards.
The Velvet Eyeshadow Palettes are such a hit and as soon as you try one yourself, you’ll understand why. Beautycounter’s velvety, pigmented shadows are just so easy to work with! I haven’t used another eyeshadow palette since I bought my Beautycounter ones, honestly. This palette features nine gorgeous jewel-toned shades that give me all the holiday feels! This is such a fun mix of shadows that you could create so many totally different looks with. I can’t recommend the Velvet Eyeshadow Palettes enough!
I’m generally not a cream eyeshadow person, but something about these is just calling to me. I’ve seen a few tutorials use these as the base of an eye look and they turn out SO gorgeous every time, so this is one of the sets I ordered from the holiday collection! You get five shades for $39 which is a great price and it’s a great variety of colors. I’m so excited about this set!
For the lips
The Color Intense Lipsticks are amazing if you like super opaque, bold color that still feels very creamy and comfortable on the lips. This duo features two full size limited edition shades, Boardwalk (beige nude) and Sunset (warm pink). These are gorgeous shades that I feel would suit most people!
I have come to favor lip gloss over lipstick the past few years, mostly out of the ease of wear, and the Beautycounter Lip Glosses are some of my favorite. They’re non-sticky, have the perfect amount of color to them and they come in a huge shade variety. This holiday set of 10 mini glosses has a hint of fresh peppermint to them which I’m super excited about. It’s a mix of existing favorites and limited edition shades and is one of the two things I’ve purchased!
This clever duo includes the Beautycounter Transforming Lip Tint which gives your lips a sheer, customized pink shade and the Beautycounter Crystal Gloss that provides high-impact shine to finish off the look. Perfect stocking stuffer idea!
How pretty is this mini lipstick set?! As mentioned above, the Color Intense Lipsticks pack an impressive color punch and this vault is the perfect gift for anyone who loves a bold lip color. It includes eight different shades, five of which are limited edition, and they have a slight fresh peppermint scent to them.
This lip gloss trio is sooooo tempting. Three minty, universally flattering nude glosses for less than the price of two? I’m seriously considering getting this trio as well. I’ve seen all three of these shades being worn since they were released and they also look so stunning. Tempting, very tempting…
