I LOVE fall. I have said it probably a hundred times on this blog already, but I seriously love everything about fall… who’s with me?! Everything about it is just so cozy and I am so ready for it this year. Here are a few things I’m looking forward to this fall!
1. Cozy sweaters
This needs no explanation! I was SO happy with the temps finally dropped a bit and I could start wearing sweaters! After what felt like an incredibly long summer over the last 3/4 of a year (a month in Asia the spring before last, then summer in Canada, then MORE summer in New Zealand when it was winter here at home), I’ve been beyond ready for some consistently cold weather and comfy, warm sweaters.
2. Hiking
You often think of summer and hiking going hand in hand, but early fall hikes are where it’s at. When it’s just starting to get cooler, the trails aren’t nearly as busy and you get to see the season changing in the trees. It’s such a cool experience! Cole and I did a 16km hike up Mt. Frosty yesterday to see the larch trees changing to a beautiful gold color before they drop their needles for the winter. It was really neat!
3. Lots of reading
I’ve hopped back on the reading train recently and am really enjoying it! Instead of sitting on my phone for half an hour before bed scrolling aimlessly through Instagram, I’ve been reading my way through a pile of library books. Fall is the perfect time to get a hot drink, snuggle up in a blanket and power through a good book… and I plan to do plenty more of that this season.
4. Stepping on crunchy leaves
I know I’m not the only one who loves this about fall, because I posted a story on Instagram the other day of me crunching my way down the street and had so many people reply to it, haha. There’s something SO satisfying in going out of your way to step on the crunchiest looking leaves. It’s the little things. :)
5. All of the tea
You guys know I’m a coffee girl, but I do also really like a good cup of tea- especially this time of year! When 8pm rolls around and I want to warm up with a hot drink, caffeine-free herbal tea is definitely the way to go. Celestial Seasonings is a brand I’ve been drinking for years (Cole actually introduced me to them with their Bengal Spice tea, which is SO good. Get some if you haven’t tried it already!) and is always in our tea & coffee cupboard.
I don’t only love Celestial Seasonings for their huge flavor variety and great price point (although those are both a major plus), but I also really appreciate that they are committed to sustainable practices as well as social and environmental responsibility.
Their ingredients are sourced from all over the world, with 70% of those ingredients being purchased directly from farmers and local communities. All of their raw materials are thoroughly tested, and then cleaned and milled in-house before being blended. The teas are packaged in natural fiber tea bags without a string/tag/individual wrapper- extra unnecessary packaging. Doing this saves 3.5 million pounds of waste from going into landfills each year!
Grab a box of Celestial Seasonings tea on your next Walmart trip (or order online for grocery pick-up) to enjoy during your favorite fall activities this year! What are you looking forward to this fall?

I haven’t seen these varieties yet. I’m gonna have to look for them. It’s the closest to FALL I’ll get in Florida LOL
