You’d think I’d be nervous about posting a bunch of bikini pics on my blog, but I’ve taken so many progress pictures for BBG lately that I’m not even fazed, haha. Zaful sent me a bunch of bikinis recently (in hopes that they’d work out for my upcoming Southeast Asia trip in April/May) and so I figured I’d do a little try-on, since these kinds of posts seem to do quite well here (see my other try-on/haul posts here)!
If you’ve never shopped on Zaful before, definitely check out my tips and tricks that I listed in this post to make sure you end up ordering things that a) will fit you and b) you’ll actually like. Things aren’t necessarily always perfectly represented in the photos or sizing, so make sure you have a read through that post first if this is the first time you’re ordering! I totally winged it with this order, since Zaful was kind enough to send me these for free, but normally I am very strategic about what I purchase from sites like this. Anyways, onto the try-ons!
Product Name: Green Banded Bikini Set.
Verdict: I LOVE the top. It doesn’t do much for my no-boobs, but I’ve basically just given up on all hope for that area anyways- especially since it seems like any weight loss I’ve had from doing BBG so far has been from my chest which was already basically non-existent, haha. So sad. I love the strappy detail across the back and in the front, and overall it just fits very comfortably.
The bottoms, on the other hand… they look really good from the front, but the back is a combination of too big and too small, if that makes any sense. I have a big butt, so it’s kinda gotta be all (nearly full coverage) or nothing (super skimpy) with me to not have the bottoms squishing my butt around into unflattering positions, haha. I will be holding onto these bottoms since I anticipate losing some of my butt in the next month and a half (fingers crossed!), so hopefully they’ll be more flattering then. I think these would be perfect for someone with a slightly smaller behind than mine.
Product Name: Cut Out Lacework Bikini Set
Verdict: I ordered a medium in this because it has a clip back instead of strings to tie, and I’ve got a big rib cage for my frame which often leads to size smalls being too tight around my ribs/chest. I should’ve ordered the small though, because this whole set is overall just a tad too big on me. So sad, because I love the top! The bottoms fit very well if you prefer a mostly full coverage.
Product Name: Floral Print Halter String Bikini Set
Verdict: How cute is this print? Better yet, it’s reversible and the other side is the stripes, so it’s basically two bikinis in one! The top of this one fits me really well and I’m glad I chose the medium in this one. The bottoms are a somewhat cheeky fit and are a little too small for my butt, but they’re cute and I’m definitely holding onto them in the hopes of having a smaller butt in the very near future, haha.
Product Name: Lace Spliced High Neck Padded Bikini Set
Verdict: I specifically chose this one because the product photo shows it being burgundy and I have a thing for burgundy, but it’s definitely just straight up red. Regardless, I love the top and I love the super cheeky bottoms, other than the lace part. I feel like the lace just looks odd and I’m going to try to stitch rip it outta there so I can salvage the bottoms, haha.
Hopefully you found this helpful if you were looking to place an order on Zaful! I’d love to hear if you have any bikini recommendations from them, because I’m still on the hunt for options to bring with me to SE Asia and you just can’t beat their price point!
