How fitting that it dumped snow on the day that I planned to shoot this outfit! We actually had a couple days of beautiful sun, and I had feels that maybe… just maybe, spring was on it’s way. Then the snow started- and continued for a few days- and then finally stopped today, but we’ll see for how long! Ah well, such is life. At least I get to wear this adorable Baby It’s Cold Outside sweater for a while longer!
Big baggy sweaters and leggings are my everyday choice of work wear (#perksofselfemployment). I like to be ultra comfy, but also cute enough that I could go run some errands without actually having to change first, so you can bet I’ve been living in this sweater from Frills and Trimmings Boutique! I love the “worn in” vibe it has and as a designer, I definitely appreciate the super cute font used for the writing as well, haha. Just a note- consider sizing down on this one as they are unisex sizing! I’m wearing a medium, but definitely could’ve done a small.
And because you probably want to know where these gorgeous leather Kodiak boots are from… Union Jack Boots! They have a huge winter boot selection, and clearly I’m going to be needing these for a while longer. I usually have issues with rubbing/blisters with lace up boots like this for some reason, but these are shearling lined, so super nice and fluffy and comfortable! It also doesn’t hurt that they’re waterproof, so my feet stay dry and warm while I’m outside playing with Duke (who, by the way, LOVES the snow more than anyone in the whole world, haha. He’d happily play out there all day if I let him!).
Union Jack Boots carries a ton of different brands, and not just boots either- I’ve got my eye on a fresh pair of white Converse! Definitely check them out if you’re looking to start off the year (or just survive the rest of the winter, haha) with a new pair of shoes.
