It follows a girl in her early twenties through normal everyday life post 9/11.
Definitely a good read, I found it had really good dialogue {does that sound weird?}
I Am A Hutterite by Mary-Ann Kirkby - I couldn't put this one down.
I had a totally different view of Hutterites before I read this...definitely recommend reading this too.

Okay, you have to read this too. Such an amazing book. Hits especially close to home if you know anyone with autism.
specifically for this. Instagram is pretty awesome, but I've only got an iTouch
so I can't just upload pictures on the spot {I have to have an internet connection}
which sucks. I can't wait to get an iPhone later this year!
Sony NEX-5 - So we've all heard my blab on and on about this one,
but seriously if you want the quality of a DSLR camera but with the convenience
{size and use} of a point and shoot camera, this is it. Thanks Erin for inspiring me to get this!

Without Instagram, how would we capture delicious moments like this before they are eaten? That's what I thought.
Bloggie-world - I feel so blessed to be part of the blogging world now..it's
pretty amazing I must say. I can't believe I've been missing out on all of this for
so long! I have met some pretty awesome ladies through blogging and it has only
just begun. I would love to go to one of the conferences one day...oooh man.
Winter clothing - I LOVE winter clothing. It's definitely my favorite!
Don't get me wrong, I love the breeziness of summer dresses and wearing shorts,
but you can layer in winter! Scarves, knit sweaters, boots. Ugh, I love it all.
Too much. My wallet doesn't love it. Nor my boyfriend {well actually he does,
I just like to shop in winter. Even more than I already like to shop}.
PS I bought three pairs of boots today. Oops.

Bundling up in scarves: my #1 love. So cozy all the time.
Chai Tea Lattes - I honestly have these like every single day. I'm obsessed.
The Real Housewives of the OC/Vancouver - I am addicted
to both of these shows. They are so so so good. By good, I just mean super dramatic
which makes it good for me to watch. Entertaining may be the better word. Tamra is
definitely my OC favorite and Christine is my Vancouver favorite.

Not exactly relevant to this post but this burger was as big as my face. Yum.
By the way, you might have thought my winter clothing point was totally random
but in New Zealand the seasons are opposite...so when it's summer in North America
it's winter here. I think people generally know that, but if you didn't...crazy right?
This also means Christmas here is summer. Like, dead of summer.
As in, we sat by the pool and ate seafood for Christmas this year.
Yes, it was super weird. Yes, I did miss the snow and hot chocolate and turkey.
But it was a cool experience.

Ooh I definitely will in some upcoming "what I wore post"!
The problem is I always forget to put my shoes back on when I take the photos hahaha.
seriously, all my what I wore photos are in sock feet. oops.
yay you must so be glad your semester is done! I sure was when I finished a couple weeks ago, phew.
Thanks for the love girl!
Oh and you are too sweet. It's actually a black scarf that I picked up on my
latest thrift shopping trip this weekend. $2.00!! I love it.
And I was trying out a new lipstick today ;) It totally does not look so fuschia-y
in the tube and I had no idea it was that pink until I saw it in my reflection at work
ahahah but I love it!!
i feel like i was missing out on the blogging community too - i LOVE it!! let's see your new boots!!
What an adorable blog!!! I love your design!! So cute!!
I'm in search of a new book to read, I'm going to put These Days Are Ours on my list!! Sounds really good. Have you seen the movie, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close?

Thanks - I did my design! It's my first try at blog designing but I am pretty happy with the outcome :)
And yes, a very good book. I definitely recommend! Not like a super deep, moving book but cool in a day-to-day life way. It's well written I think.
Will definitely check out your blog love, thanks so much for stopping by! xox
The boots photos will come soon hehe :)
And yes, blogging is amazing!
I just joined Instagram for android last month & I'm loving of it. My husband's constantly telling me to put down the phone & stop taking photos haha. Totally agree with you, us bloggers are totally awesome! There's so much support & understanding within this community, it's something non-bloggers just dont get.
I'm actually staying up a little later tonight just so I can watch RHOC. I'm glad Tamra isn't being a big-o bully to Gretchen anymore, she's definitely a lot more likable.
I love to read and have never read either of those books, thanks for the suggestions!
I wish I could get it on my phone! I have this like....semi-illegitimate (I feel like) Android phone from New Zealand but it's like.. low class Android or something haah and can never get any good apps. And the camera is terrible. I want to upload my Instagram photos every second of the day - not ten hours later after the great moment has passed hahah. And yes, boyfriend is always like PUT THAT AWAY NO MORE PICTURES!!
I am so glad they made up, they are such a fun little pair together! And Vicki is soooooooooo jealous which is hilarious. When she seems them do something together her jaw goes all rigid. I find it hilarious
Yes they are both great! You should definitely read Carly's Voice as well. It's making me cry nearly but then I have to remind myself I'm on a train full of people whilst reading and it would be super awkward if I cried. hahaha
